Mountain Biking Skills Taster Session - Gisburn Forest

Learn the basics of how to confidently tackle a range of off road terrain and open up a whole network of tracks and trails to explore at your own leisure.

What do I need to bring?


Guided Mountain Bike Tour over Salter and Croasdale Fells

Experience the grandeur and isolation of one of the finest moorland crossings in England with spectacular views of the Forest of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales.

Start and finish: Slaidburn Village Hall - how to get here

Distance - approximately 20 miles

Terrain: quiet lanes and bridleway with a mixture of grassy/stony/rocky surface - some short but moderate climbing (walking allowed!).

Includes basic skills coaching and trail side repair service if required

Duration: 10.30am to approximately 4pm
